Let's learn about the features and benefits of the SQID 2!
The SQiD 2 is an advanced iteration of our original SQiD, designed to offer superior functionality for modern network management needs.
Customizability
This 24-port SQID Keystone Patch Panel features a row of 24 LED ID lights and 24 3.5mm plugs positioned above each RJ45 port on the front panel. The LED lights serve as a visual identification tool, allowing for easy tracking and monitoring of network connections. The 3.5mm plugs are designed to accommodate optional LED extenders for switch ports, as well as other future features currently under development.

Compatibility
On the back of the panel, you’ll find an empty RJ45 jack port compatible with a wide range of industry-standard, high-density keystone jacks. These include Cat 3, 5, 5e, 6, 6A, 7, and 8 Ethernet jacks, as well as fiber optic, HDMI, 3.5mm, USB, and coaxial connectors. A dedicated grounding stud is provided to ensure proper grounding, while the sheet metal supporting the circuit board extends outward to offer cable management solutions. This allows for easy organization of cables using small Velcro straps or zip ties.

Flexibility
The circuit board is equipped with several key connections, including 24 board connectors that link to the 22/2 cable coming from the outlet plate to activate the front panel LEDs. Additionally, there are two USB-C connectors for powering the panel with a 5-volt power supply. An onboard relay connection is also provided, enabling the integration of third-party devices such as strobe lights, buzzers, horns, and other future applications, including apps and remote notification systems.
